ABOUT US
OUR STORY
The Terror Shed Haunted House began in 2021 when founders Hunter Sabish and Kaleb Eggers first opened their haunt to the public as freshmen in high school. With a shared passion for Halloween and creativity, they set out to build something special - not just a haunted house, but a place where people could come together, get scared, and give back to the community. What started as a small haunted shed quickly grew as Hunter and Kaleb continued to dream bigger, design new scenes, and find ways to improve the attraction every year. As the haunt became more detailed and well constructed, local businesses, newspapers, and news outlets began reaching out, and the community response was incredible. Hunter and Kaleb transformed Hunter’s grandparents’ garage into a welcoming waiting area where guests can enjoy concessions, shop merchandise, and purchase tickets before entering the haunt. Their goal has always been to create a fun, memorable experience while supporting a meaningful cause. Everyone who helps at The Terror Shed is a volunteer. Most of the team started as friends from high school, but along the way they’ve met many new people who now feel like family. Every person involved shares the same goal: creating unforgettable scares while giving back to the community. Today, The Terror Shed Haunted House welcomes guests from all across Wisconsin. Each year, Hunter and Kaleb redesign, rebuild, and improve the attraction to keep it fresh and exciting. In 2022 alone, they donated over 3,000 pounds of food to local pantries - a tradition that remains at the heart of everything they do. What began as two kids with a big imagination has grown into one of Wisconsin’s best home haunts. A childhood Halloween dream has become something much bigger; a place where scares meet heart, creativity meets community, and everyone leaves knowing they helped make a difference.
